The Hard Choices

So Lately I have had to make these hard choices between my head and my heart.

I am going to Use an analogy:
So once upon a time there was this girl who was given a stuffed pig by her aunt for her birthday. When she first got it, it was like all other stuffed animals. But she found these characteristics about the pig that she loved...
Such As:

-He would hang on her arm.

-Easy to cuddle up with.

-He wasn't Plush but he was soft.

-He began to make this young girl happy.

After some time the girl began to call him Mr. Piggy. Her love for the stuffed animal grew and grew until she could finally tell him she loved him, and never wanted
to be parted.
Many years went by and the pig and her were great friends, they went to many different states together, camping tips, friends houses, and was terrorized by animals and children alike.

One day when the young girl had grown up a VERY mean man came in the dead of night woke the girl and charmed her into letting him keep the stuffed animal for the night. Out of confusion she let the man take her stuffed Pig.

The next morning when the young girl arose her pig (and best friend) were gone. She beat herself up for letting the man take Mr. Piggy for the night. Her mother tried to help her forget her pain by replacing the pig. This new pig smelled different and didn't have the same qualities. his belly was too big, he didn't hang off the arm, all other Pigs just didn't make her happy and she didn't love them.

Not too many days after she had lost her pig. she received a note from the robber telling her that her pig was fine and that she only need to come by and she could say "hi" but she could not take him home.
She quickly jumped on her bike and rode to a park to meet her pig. She was able to hold him and he made her happy.
Then the evil man told her it was time to go. He made her an offer, "If you come live with me you can always have him with you always!"

She thought about this and decided that it was not a wise choice. The man then said she may return the following week to see him again. Sadly she left the park, tears filled her eyes as she thought of her pig and all that he meant to her.

Many weeks went by, then the the man asked the same thing and again the girl declined. Then the mans demands changed instead of coming next week he said that he would let her know when she could come see her pig.

She waited 2 weeks and finally she heard from the man. She was so excited to see Mr. Piggy again but the man didn't bring the stuffed Pig. He said if you wanna see him you have to come to his home. The girl didn't want to do this, it was dangerous but she missed her pig. So she thought she would try it... It was the scarie
st time of her life. she was uncomfortable and alone. So she left after spending 10 min. with her pig.

One day the girl realized that it was unhealthy to center her whole life around this Pig. She found that waiting for him to be hers again was pointless, no matter how sad it was. She needed to move on... and so she began to try.

First she started with her other stuffed pigs... they were too much for her to handle they reminded her of what she lost. Many times she considered going to a different kind of stuffed animal, but she was afraid to let herself love another stuffed animal in case it was taken from her as well...

Always she heard from the man asking her to come. Sometimes she would go but mostly she would make an excuse. Slowly she started to move on... realizing that this stuffed animal was not worth her life. That she needed to move on. No matter how much she loved Mr. Piggy, she couldn't let her love for the stuffed animal drag her down.

So She did... and now she is much older and in love with a stuffed bear...
