Ever since My Aunt Nancy gave me a Canvas board the size of my bed (just kidding it is a little larger then a poster board) I have always wanted to create a master piece on it... from one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands... Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The song is called "Sparks."This song has touched me from the time I first heard it. Then I read the story that came with it, and that was amazing as well. The story starts off with a young girl who walks down to the beach where a man was building a sandcastle near a bonfire. She asked him why he was there and he said it was a long story.
The young girl helps with the sand castle; when the sandcastle is finished they stand back looking at the castle while the sparks from the bonfire are flying over the castle on their way out to sea. He talks about wanting to travel all over the world and how it is hard for him to do such a thing in one lifetime, but he once hears that if you touch the waters of the ocean you can touch all the world.
"Well, I want to visit all the places on earth, which of course is impossible, especially for a person with limited financial resources. But a friend I once had, told me that when you touch the ocean, you touch the entire world. For the oceans touch the entire earth. Every continent, every island, large and small, every inlet and peninsula and through all the rivers and streams that empty into these oceans, they also reach deep into the largest bodies of land."
The man then picked up a handful of water and reaching out placed it in the hand of the child. "Imagine how many drops are in just this small handful of water. Now, only a short while ago, one of those drops was on the shore of the Baltic Sea, and that one was in the Sea of Japan and the one next to it came from atop the Andes Mountains, down the Maranon and Amazon Rivers, across Peru and Brazil, until it reached the Atlantic Ocean."
"And right there," he said pointing to a corner of her hand, "is one of my favorites, for it has taken the longest journey. It originally came from the eyes of the Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra, as she held her child from Julius Caesar and realized that she would never see the great Roman leader again. It fell from her eye, down her cheek and into the Nile where it passed the Temples of Memphis and Luxor, the Pyramids of Giza and the ever-patient gaze of the Great Sphinx before entering the Mediterranean. From there, it visited the harbors of Alexandria, Athens and Rome before slipping through the Straits of Gibraltar, where it continued its journey for over two millennium, before it ended up here, in your hands."

He begins his story in N
ew York City, where a a dealer watches as an Army man walked down 42nd street. Thew a crowd he sees a women, their eyes meet and neither one knows how to talk to each other. They walk to a shop window where their eyes meet again in the glass. They exchange a smile and a glance. She beings to walk away, but before she gets to far away he turns and gave her his number. The dealer walks up to him and says "Man, what is your problem soldier? I thought you were never going to ask her out!" The dealer then said that even he could tell they were meant to be, and that it was torture watching him almost let that magic slip from his life. The soldier asked "What exactly is it you think you saw?" The Dealer replied "On this street, my kingdom, my world, I see everything. I saw you, I saw her, I saw what could be and I saw SPARKS"
At this point you would listen to the song. Anyway the reason I picked this song was because Its romantic with a mix of Rock n' Roll and Classical. Then when I read the story and the part with the little girl and the sand castle with the sparks was amazing... adding the rest of the story and the music you get one hell of a performance.
