Three Months And Counting

 At 3 Months: 

Weight: 13.1 lbs

Height: 23.9 inches

She Sings along with Music, ("Is it Singing or Crying, in tune with the music.")

She enjoys Adele, Jim Brickman, and Lord Of the Rings Soundtrack when sleeping. 

When she is awake she likes Dance Pop music or Rock music (what her dad listens to).

When People talk to her she usually respond by trying to talk back. 

She rather people sing to her.

She sleeps almost all night, most nights. 

Still is being swaddled.

She naps on her side, or on her back... 

sometimes we put her to sleep on her stomach then turn her over after she falls asleep.

She had great head control and holds her head up when ever she can. 

When she looks at her dad she will blow bubbles at him till he smiles at her. 

She will sit for minutes at a time Just staring at her Daddy!

When he talks to her she smiles at him and tries to talk back.

She Loves her Dad and He Loves her!

"Papa's Girl" 

Grandpa Terry Loves Little Lexi and holds her and feeds her every chance he gets. 

He Really does plan on spoiling her rotten :)

They watch TV together.

Lord Farquad Plays music for her on his i-pad. 

Piano, classical music she Loves!

Navi Holds her and they read books and watch TV together.

Green Arrow is all that needs to be said 

Ganny (Grandma Geri) Holds her and loves on her 

and takes naps with h.er as frequently as she can. 

Aunti Emily, Loves her and they play together 

and cook in the kitchen and take pictures.

Gio Picks her up every time she cries and holds her. 

First Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving Because everyone had to work on thanksgiving at Josh's house we had Thanksgiving on a Monday. 

For Lunch we had Turkey, Ham, stuffing, sweet potatoes (with brown sugar and marshmallows) gravy, rolls, mashed potatoes, and salad. Oh how Yummy! 

Josh and I had a Wonderful day, we laid around played with Lexi, eat food and played Fable II.

On Thursday we had Thanksgiving at my house. When I got off work We eat food. 

Pork Roast with potatoes, cabbage, sweet potatoes, rolls, and stuffing. Yummy! 

Then dad watched Lexi as Mom and I went to Brown Thursday and Black Friday Shopping. 

Lexi had a taste of Chocolate Fudge, Thanks to Grandpa Alan.

Momma's Birthday

After work I came home and spent the day with my daughter. 

Then the evening with Lexi and Josh.

 We went To "Aunt" Karri's house and I helped her clean her garage and unpack, 

We eat Canton (Chinese food) and Played with Lexi, 

Trinity got to watch Lexi and hold her... 

She felt she had to hold the Binky in her mouth the whole time even when Lexi was sleeping, 

Trinity lost her tooth and lexi held the bag for her HAHA!

Month Two

At Two Months Old

Little Lexi went to the Doctors :( and received her first shots, She was such a brave little girl only crying a little.

By this time she had been babysat many times by loving family members.

She went to Utah, We drove 24+ hours and 1,000+ miles, she only cried when she needed to be fed or changed... 

Very good Travel companion.

We visited many members of the family and everyone adored Little Lexi.

We went camping 

at "Camp Zarahemla" with family members, and there was so much going on that sleeping was difficult.

Lexi Slept her first 6 hour block at Aunt Suzie's House.

We took 4 Generation Pictures 

with Grandma Sara's side of the Family and Grandpa Alan's Side of the family.

Grandma Sara wants to be called Navi and Grandpa Alan Wants to be Called "Lord Farquad".

(Ya My Family is VERY Weird)

Grandma Geri wants to be known as Granny and Grandpa Terry wants to be called Papa.

God Father Hank got to Hold her for the first time as well and he was instantly in Love! Every One was!

Lexi also experienced her first Plane ride 

(Flying Standby) on Southwest Airlines.

We left Salt Lake City Airport at 1:30 in the afternoon and we were expecting a 1 hour 30 min. flight to Denver and from Denver a 1 hour and 30 min. flight to OKC with like no Layover!

We went through security smoothly and rush to our plane. we got 3 seats to ourselves and Lexi got the Window seat (not that she looked out the window).

She loved Take off, yawning like a pro.  

She stayed away nearly the entire time we were in the air.

The next flight was a little crowded and we didn't get 3 seats together. and was not able to take the car seat on the plane. 

Lexi had to sit on our lap Again she Loved take off, smiling and laughing the whole time. 

But Landing was not her favorite she would only cry for a few seconds, mostly the cabin pressure was not to her liking.

Height: 23.5 inches

She Discovered her Tongue and learned to blow bubbles.

She if able to make the following noises:

Ahh

Lexi enjoys the pleasant conversations she has with adults.

She likes to look at her hands and feet. 

Showers and Baths are an enjoyable time, still. 

Binki is a have to thing, meaning she rarely requires it! 

She Laughs regularly, Which is enjoyable for anyone who is with her. 

She eats every 2-4 hours and usually will sleep about 10-20 min. 

and sleeps in 4-6 hour blocks at night! 

She has began to play in her Jenny Jump and is slowly learning how to use it. small bouncing and swinging. 

I believe one of the reasons you likes it is because she gets to be up right to look at everything and it feels like she is being held. 

She doesn't like it when the puppy comes and licks and/or chews on her socks.

Puppy also does "Kiss and Run" praying no one figures out that he just licked the baby!

She hasn't done much in the rolling department. 

Probably because Mom (me) is too busy teaching her to walk.

She Also Had Her first Halloween. 

She was dressed as Little Link! 

(Navi made her whole costume, the shield, and the tunic)

Grandma "Navi" was dressed as Midna

Grandpa "Farquad" was dressed as Grown up Link

Emily was Arial (Little Mermaid)

And I was a Fairy 

(Did my makeup in the car on the way to church)

1 Month

 At One Month My daughter Alexandria was Blessed, September 29th, 2013 at 10 am. Both Mom(Me, Phila) and Dad (Josh) were in attendance. 

My Father Alan Lewis Performed the Blessing. 

The Dress was made by My GrandMother Margaret Doty, Previously used by Emma Shaw (Angela Shaw's 1st daughter). The Dress was originally made for my Aunt Jill's China Doll, Until Angela demanded that Emma wear it for her Blessing and then when Alexandria was born they let her wear it as well. 

At 1 Month:

Lexi started using a binky (only the one given to us by the hospital, she wouldn't use any other)

First Doc appointment at 2 weeks went very well. No problems to report. 

She is so strong, trying to hold her head up. 

She Loves taking showers, Hates baths.

She doesn't wear bows often even though we made more then enough for her.

She sleeps in 3 hour blocks at night.

During the day she eats every 2 hours, ON THE DOT!!!
We have been shopping a few times, which she slept threw the whole experience.
All my friends at Wal-mart have seen her.
She likes the Sun, She is my Little Sun Baby!
When you put her in the swing, in the door, where the sun is shining in, She will be happy and content!
When you take her outside she instantly shuts up! lol
We get ready for bed at 10 pm and go to bed 11-1 am, listening to Classical music, Josh Groban, Sarah Brighten and Lord of the Rings soundtrack.
During the Day we listen to Pandora; Vanessa Carlton Radio or Some Nights Radio.
Lexi and I sleep in till 11 am, and have a wonderful quiet morning!

Dress-up Day

"Sexy" Lexi 
(or as the nurses call her)

On dress up day we gave her a bath, which she screamed through the whole thing. Then pooped and peed on the clean Diaper.



We then decided that we would take a few pictures with only a diaper on.


We then put her in a bath robe and in Emily's chair. Took the little rubber duckies trailing along. 

Then we took some pictures in Sunday Dresses. We had made many bows over 42 of them... and interchangeable. 

About half way through the shoot. we had to give her a bikini to keep her happy. We are lucky to get her with he eyes open in any of these pictures!

We Put her in a Premi jacket, she looked like a little gangster. All she needs is a little Gun.

Then Grandma took some pictures with our little Lexi. She was not too happy. It was time for her to go to bed... she was tired and wouldn't settle down long enough to get a good picture with grandma.










And Look at Just a week or two old she is trying to put her head up. My strong little girl.
